NY Giants Select Former Bucks County Standout

Council Rock South grad Justin Pugh selected as the 19th pick of the NFL Draft on Thursday.

Justin Pugh, a lineman from Syracuse, has been drafted by the New York Giants.

Pugh, a Council Rock South graduate, was the 19th pick in the NFL draft.

"He’s a terrific football player—big, smart, high test scores and a team captain,” General Manager Jerry Reese said of Pugh, quoted in a New York Times article. “He’s our type of guy—clean. No warts, no off-field issues and a good athlete. He’s a solid football player, and I think you win with solid football players.”
