Rewind to 1979 and you'll find Jemma Samala as the newspaper editor at El Rancho Junior High School in Anaheim Hills, starting her love for journalism. After majoring in Business Administration at USC, Jemma worked in legal community, then became a stay-at-home working mom to her two sons. To keep her sanity, Jemma pursued her journalism dreams, becoming a freelance writer for such publications as kidsLA, Orange Coast and Ceremony magazines. Jemma likes to write about children's issues, the community, travel and dessert. She is actively involved in PTA, school foundations, neighborhood events and Little League. Most weekends you'll find Jemma cheering on her sons during their baseball games. . .while eating walnut brownies.
