Lower Southampton Board of Supers Appoints New Member

The Lower Southampton Board of Supervisors had to fill a vacancy after John McMenamin resigned.

After former Chairman John McMenamin resigned to take on the township manager position full time, the Lower Southampton Board of Supervisors had to fill a vacancy. They did so last night by appointing Republican Patrick Irving, Phillyburbs reported. Though the board advertised that applications were being accepted to fill the board's vacancy, Irving was the only resident that interviewed for the position. , However, according to Phillyburbs, Supervisor Ed Shannon said he’s sure Irving “will do a hell of a job, for all of us.” During the annual reorganization meeting Monday night, the board also voted supervisor Julia Newman as new chairman and supervisor Keith Wesley was voted vice chairman, Phillyburbs reported. Webb, Congdon to Lead Neshaminy School Board in 2013

Next year, Ritchie Webb will remain the Neshaminy School Board president with Scott Congdon taking over the VP duties.

In 2013, Ritchie Webb will remain the president of the Neshaminy School Board with Scott Congdon taking over the duties of vice president. During the annual reorganization meeting, Webb was the sole nominee for the president position and the board unanimously re-elected him. Kim Koutsouradis nominated Scott Congdon to replace him as the board's vice president. "As much as it has been terrific, I would like to pass the torch on," Koutsouradis said of nominating Congdon, who was the sole nominee. Congdon was elected as the board's 2013 vice president with a 8-1 vote; Mike Morris voted against appointed Congdon as the VP, but did not make a public statement about it.
