State Police released recent crime information, including charges for DUI.
A Bristol man was pulled over for having expired registration, then was arrested for driving under the influence, state police said. According to recent state police reports, Trooper Kevin Lee observed a Silver, Acura RSX with expired registration while on patrol on Jan. 29 at 1:35 a.m. The vehicle's operator was also seen swerving on 95 N at mile marker 37.9 in Bensalem, police said. Lee initiated a traffic stop and after further investigation, the operator of the Acura, a 26-year-old male from Bristol, was found to be intoxicated, the report said. The man failed field sobriety tests and was then arrested for driving under the influence. Charges are filed in relation to DUI at Magisterial District Court, police said.

State Police cited a man for trespassing at Parx after having been previously excluded from the property.
A Delaware man was cited for trespassing at Parx Casino by Pennsylvania State Police, according to a recent report. On Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at 4:35 p.m., state police issued a 52-year-old man with a non-traffic citation for criminal trespass after being previously excluded from the casino. The above information was supplied by the Pa. State Police. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. It was nearly 7 p.m. Dec. 28 when a 38-year-old Philadelphia woman decided to walk along the southbound lane on I-95 at Tennis Avenue in Bensalem, according to State Police. “Interstate I-95 prohibits pedestrians from entering the highway, and there are clearly marked signs signaling no pedestrians to enter at the on ramps,” the report states. When a car came down the southbound lane and passed the woman, the driver’s side mirror struck her right arm. The car stopped a few yards away. The driver was not charged, but the pedestrian was cited for walking on a highway and was taken to Torresdale Hospital.

On Dec. 22, a 46-year-old man from Levittown was stopped for speeding and swerving on 95, North of Street Road in Bensalem. State Police stopped the subject, who was found to be impaired. The subject agreed to a blood test. Blood Alcohol Content is pending analysis of blood. The subject was processed and released. On Nov. 27 at 12:50 p.m., state police arrested a Philadelphia sex offender at a motel in Trevose. Troopers said Michael J. Joseph, 53, failed to notify state police of a change of address within 48 hours. Joseph is required to register under Megan’s Law. He was taken into custody by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department on a domestic relations warrant as well as a parole violation related to the Megan’s Law violation. Joseph was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. Trooper Joseph Schmidt investigated the incident.
