Trevose Fire Company teamed up with Cradles to Crayons for a day of service.
Trevose Fire Company and Cradles to Crayons has a "very successful day" of service, according to a post on the fire company's website. The fire station was a collection point on Monday, Jan. 21 for items such as clothing, shoes, baby items, toys, school supplies and more. Cradles to Crayons volunteers were at the firehouse from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to collect the items so that they can be given to children living in poverty in the southeastern Pennsylvania area. PennDOT's driver license and photo centers will be closed Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that all driver license and photo centers will be closed Saturday, Jan. 19, through Monday, Jan. 21, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Customers may still obtain a variety of driver and vehicle products and services online through PennDOT's Driver and Vehicle Services website. Driver and vehicle online services are available 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week and include driver’s license and photo ID renewals; vehicle registration renewals; driver-history services; changes of address; driver license and vehicle registration restoration letters; ability to pay driver license restoration fee or vehicle financial responsibility restoration fee; and exam scheduling.
