A man who was bleeding from a swollen eye punched an officer in the face and attempted to resist arrest, Lower Southampton Township police said. On Monday, Feb. 11 just before 1 a.m. police responded to a report of "an armed out of control male bleeding from the head," police said in an affidavit. The man who was later identified as Joseph Franklin Neff, allegedly pulled a knife on a resident of Croftwood Apartment Complex, located at 400 East Street Rd. in Feasterville. Officer Christian Tracy and Cpl. Raymond Young found Neff standing in the hallway of the apartment complex wearing long underwear and bleeding from the area of his right eye, reports said. A Feasterville woman was injured Wednesday when an unknown actor threw a rock through her car's windshield in the Chalet Village parking lot.
A woman was attempting to parallel park her car in the Chalet Village parking lot Wednesday night when someone threw a rock through her windshield, hitting her head. According to the police report, the incident occurred at about 8 p.m. when the victim returned home from work. She suffered a contusion to the left side of her head from the rock and was treated on the scene. When asked if she has had issues with anyone recently, the victim told police that she had problems with tenants in some of the surrounding units over juveniles being disorderly in those units. She also stated that she had an issue with another tenant about a year ago on the other side of the complex when she lived there. Evidence police collected at the scene indicated …

After getting kicked off a train in Tullytown, a 42-year-old New Jersey man assaulted local EMTs and police officers, resulting in a slew of charges and officers using a stun gun on him. Tuesday, Dec. 18, Lower Southampton Police received a call from the Tullytown Police for officers and the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad to meet them at Suburban Diner where the man was passed out. Tullytown officers had transported the man to the diner after he got kicked off of a train to be picked up there by his mother. Lower Southampton reported that an assault and robbery occurred earlier this week, during which the complainant was hit with a frying pan.
A Lower Southampton man reported to police that he was assaulted and robbed earlier this week. Lower Southampton Police were dispatched to his home on Heights Lane Monday, Dec. 3 at 8:54 p.m. where he told them he got a ride home from two men. He said he entered his home with one of the men and "the next thing he knew" he was being beaten up on his kitchen floor. The complainant, who was bloody when speaking to officers, said that this man hit him over the head with a frying pan and also grabbed a knife off of the counter, but never used it as a weapon. A Feasterville man is facing charges following an incident in which he allegedly brandished a handgun at three men leaving church this weekend. Lower Southampton Police were dispatched at 10:42 p.m. Saturday, August 4 to the Word of Life Church on the 300 block of E. Street Road for the report of an armed subject. According to a police report, the three victims told police that an armed subject brandished a black handgun at them in the parking lot of the church. Between Feb. 25-28, Trevose troopers investigated the following incidents: On Feb. 25 at 1:32 a.m., state police responded to an accident on the ramp from I-95 southbound to Woodhaven Road. Police said the vehicle driven by Adrian Achinko, 21, of Philadelphia, overturned and crashed. Achinko and a passenger sustained undisclosed injuries in the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor and the investigation is ongoing. Trooper Thomas Geerlof investigated the incident. On Feb. 27 at 1:27 p.m., state police responded to a call from Michelle Court in Hulmeville. Lower Southampton Police arrested and charged a Philadelphia man with assault and firearms violations, in addition to related charges. According to Lower Southampton Police, Michael Ness, 21 of Philadelphia, was charged with aggrevated assault, carrying a firearm without a license, simple assault, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats. These charges and Ness' subsequent arrest stemmed from a January 23 incident in which he pointed a gun at the victim and said "This is how I play" in the Buck Hotel parking lot. During Ness' arrest, police discovered marijuana smoking devices in plain view in the apartment he was staying in with Victoria Falco, 19 of Philadelphia.
