Singing For A Cure

The Double D's, Divas and Divos, put on a show to raise money for their favorite cause.

Each year, the Double D's, the Divas and Divos, put on a show to raise money for their favorite cause. This year, the Double D's raised money for Prostate Cancer at their August 15 show at La Casa Di Lucia restaurant.

The proceeds will be donated to Prostate Cancer research and awareness in the Philadelphia area. In addition, the show was dedicated to the memory of Philadelphia entertainer Frank Drake, who performed in the first Divo show several years ago, passed away in May from cardiac complications.

Since Frank loved singing Frank Sinatra songs, the entertainers performed music from the "Rat Pack" and was hosted by
Bill Apter and Bruce the "Voice of Choice" Wirt.
