Sandy: Neshaminy School District Closed Again Wednesday

The Neshaminy School District will be closed again Wednesday due to weather and power outages caused by Hurricane Sandy.

Neshaminy School District will keep its schools closed again Wednesday, Oct. 31 due to weather and power outages caused by Hurricane Sandy. District offices will be open and administrators, clerical staff and custodians will report at their normal time.

The district announced Sunday night that its schools would be closed Monday and Tuesday and its offices would be closed Tuesday.

The district's Internet Service Provider was knocked out by the weather and has been effecting Neshaminy email correspondanceand VPN connections.

Any Halloween events that had been planned to be held at Neshaminy schools have been cancelled. There is no word on if and when they will be rescheduled.
