Neshaminy Idol Raises More Than $2,200

Neshaminy Idol raised more than $2,200 for non-profits.

Neshaminy High School's Interact Club and Dance Team hosted the  March 29 and raised more than $2,200

The money raised benefitted the , which is based in Feasterville, and The American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge.

According to the school district website, this year's new “Idols” tied for first place, Allie Wiatrowski, Rubin Thomas, Brian Thomas, Austin Liles and Joab Alexander with their rendition of “Circus” and Mike Kepko, Hayley Buxton, Kevin Murray, Dianna Kepko and Greg Kneiss performing “Forever & Always.”

Marie Rayme with Joab Alexander on piano singing “Amazing Grace” and Winston Williams and Marvin Carr for our new anthem, “Redskin Anthem” tied for second place.

In third place was Public Noise: Mike Catapano, Dylan Hale, Chris Smirnov, Jimmy Kelly and Steve Overlander performing “Tired Eyes.”

People’s Choice went to The Outlets: John Ferketich, Julie Hemmingway, Austin Liles, Mike Kepko, Chris Smirnov, Matthew Gromley and Becca Diamond performing “My Body.”
