Lower Southampton Elementary Teacher Named Teacher of the Month

's pre-first grade teacher Allison Crisp received the Teacher of the Month award from the Friday, February 10.

As the recipient of Feasterville Acme's Teacher of the Month award, Crisp was presented with a $50 ACME gift card, a bouquet of flowers and a cake. In addition, Crisp's class received a pizza party lunch with cupcakes and goodie bags.

While at the class party, Acme staff talked to students about healthy fruits and vegetables.

According to Crisp's biography on the school district's website, she graduated from the University of Redlands in California with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a minor in Social Studies.  She also holds a Master of Education degree from Holy Family University and completed her student teaching assignment in a first grade classroom at Goodnoe Elementary School in Council Rock School District.  Crisp completed long term assignments in first grade at Oliver Heckman Elementary and Lower Southampton Elementary.
