Lower Southampton Elementary Raises Funds for Smart Boards

The Lower Southampton Elementary students raised money for Smart Boards for the school.

On May 25, Lower Southampton Elementary students participated in the school's first "Race for Education."

According to the school district's website, sponsors of this "health and wellness" experience for students helped raise $26,900. This money will allow Lower Southampton Elementary to purchase additional Smart Boards for its classrooms.

"We are truly grateful to all who supported our mission in the Race for Smart Boards! A big thank you to the Race Committee members and PTO for their support with this event," as stated on the district website.
