Transportation Secretary to Speak at TMA Bucks Luncheon

Event will be Oct. 7 at Parx East Clubhouse.

Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation Barry J. Schoch will be the guest speaker at ’ (Transportation Management Association) fall luncheon on Friday, Oct. 7 at Parx East Clubhouse (2999 Street Road).

According to a release, Schoch was nominated by Gov. Tom Corbett to be Secretary of Transportation (PennDOT) on Jan. 18. He has 28 years experience in the engineering field and has either managed or played a key role in many of the pending or completed transportation projects in Pennsylvania over that time.

“TMA Bucks is extremely excited to be able to bring Secretary Schoch to Bucks County,” said TMA Bucks board president Phil Wursta of Pennoni Associates. “This is a critical time for transportation funding in Pennsylvania and it starts with getting everyone together to hear the message and understand their role in helping it become a reality.”

The event is being sponsored by Jacobs Engineering Group and registration information is available at tmabucks.com. The cost to attend the luncheon is $25 for TMA members and $35 for non-members.
