State Roads Closed Due to Flooding, Storm Damage in Southeastern Pennsylvania

State roads may be closed or restricted in Southeastern Pennsylvania because of flooding and/or downed trees and power lines.

PennDOT advises drivers state roads may be closed or restricted in Southeastern Pennsylvania because of flooding and/or downed trees and power lines.

The following are the road closures in PennDOT Engineering District 6, which includes Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, as of 6 p.m.: 

Bucks County

Route 32 between Cafferty Road and Dark Hollow Road in Tinicum and Bridgeton twps. Downed utility wires.

Route 32 between Lodi Hill Road and Bridgeton Hill Road in Tinicum and Bridgeton townships. Flooding.

Route 32 between Trenton Avenue and Taylorsville Road in Lower Makefield and Upper Makefield townships and Morrisville Borough. Flooding.

Route 32 between Headquarters Road and Uhlerstown Road in Tinicum Township. Flooding.

Route 32 between Bridgeton Hill Road and Narrows Hill Road in Bridgeton Township.  Downed tree and utility wires.

Geigel Hill Road between Upper Tinicum Church Road and Permanent School Road in Tinicum Twp. Downed tree and utility wires.

Tohickon Hill Road between Point Pleasant Pike and State Park Road in Plumstead Twp. Bridge damage.

Chester County

Route 926 between Pocopson Road and Creek Road in Pocopson and Pennsbury townships. Flooding.

Church Road/Pickering Dam Road between Pikeland Road and Charlestown Road in Charlestown Township.  Downed tree and utility wires.

Foster Road between Green Lane Road and Yellow Springs Road in Charlestown Township. Drainage pipe and pavement damage.

Creek Road between Route 926 and Route 52, and between the Delaware County line and Brintons Bridge Road in Birmingham Township. Flooding.

Delaware County

Creek Road between Bridgewater Road and Dutton Mill Road in Brookhaven Borough and Middletown Township. Downed utility wires.

Montgomery County

Park Avenue between Pawlings Road and Audubon Road in Lower Providence Township.  Flooding and pavement damage.

PennDOT advised drivers to use extreme care when driving during heavy rainstorms.  PennDOT also reminds motorists they can log on to 511PA.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major highways before heading out.
