MEC Leukemia Survivorship to Present Check to St. Christopher's Hospital

At the Lower Southampton Board of Supervisors meeting at 7 p.m. tonight, the board will entertain a check presentation from the MEC Leukemia Survivorship Foundation to St. Christopher's Hospital.

When the Lower Southampton Board of Supervisors convene tonight, they will have a number of ceremonies and presentations before the approve anything.

First, the board will hold a budget work session beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Following the work session, Molly, Marge and Tony Crooks of the MEC Leukemia Survivorship Foundation, will present a check to a representative from St. Christopher's Hospital. They held the non-profit's second 5k last April to raise funds for the hospital.

Bucks County Emergency Management Coordinator Harry Chrole will be making a presentation to William Oettinger, the township's Fire Marshall.

In addition, the board will adopt a proclamation honoring Sara Comstock, who has served on the township's Animal Control Advisory Committee. The board approved her resignation from the committe in their last meeting due to her moving away from the area.

After the board hears public comment, they will consider approving the consent agenda, awarding a bid for a consortium salt bid and for paving.
