Maple Point MS to Celebrate 59th Veterans Day

Neshaminy's Maple Point Middle School staff and students will celebrate the 59th Veterans Day holiday Friday, Nov. 9.

Maple Point Middle School staff, its 8th graders, principal Ron Sayre and local veterans will take time to honor and celebrate veterans this Friday.

About 50 local veterans will participate in a ceremony Nov. 9 at 12:15 p.m. in the middle school's auditorium.

Following the ceremony, the veterans and 8th grade students will have a group picture taken surrounding the large American flag, which will be painted on the school grounds.

Veterans from the community are invited to participate in this annual ceremony. Any veteran who is interested should call Maple Point Middle School 215-809-6230 or register in the middle school's main office.
