Board of Supervisors Will Inspect Roads

Lower Southampton Board of Supervisors will inspect roads in need of paving Saturday, June 11.

Lower Southampton Township has $200,000 to pave streets throughout the township in 2011. With the limited funds, the Board of Supervisors have to decide which roads the money will be used to pave.

In order to help their decision process, Saturday, June 11.

When Director of Public Works Charles Bosco , he recommended they use the funds to pave Pennsylvania Boulevard. However, members of the board expressed interest in using the paving funds on roads that benefit residents, rather than businesses.

Roads the board will be inspecting were scheduled to be paved in past years, but the funds were not available at the time.
