Board of Supervisors Will Inspect Roads

Lower Southampton Township has $200,000 to pave streets throughout the township in 2011. With the limited funds, the Board of Supervisors have to decide which roads the money will be used to pave.

In order to help their decision process, Saturday, June 11.

When Director of Public Works Charles Bosco , he recommended they use the funds to pave Pennsylvania Boulevard. However, members of the board expressed interest in using the paving funds on roads that benefit residents, rather than businesses.

Roads the board will be inspecting were scheduled to be paved in past years, but the funds were not available at the time.

Here is are the roads the board will be inspecting:

• Phillips Place (scheduled to be paved in 2008)
• Wood Road (scheduled to be paved in 2008)
• Vet Road (scheduled to be paved in 2009)
• Pennsylvania Boulevard (scheduled to be paved in 2009)
• Roberts Road (scheduled to be paved in 2009)
• Westbrook Road (scheduled to be paved in 2009)
• Midfield Road (scheduled to be paved in 2009)
• Neshaminy Avenue (scheduled to be paved in 2009)
• Tulip Lane (scheduled to be paved in 2009)
• Hilltop Road (scheduled to be paved in 2010)
• Woodcock Lane (scheduled to be paved in 2010)
• Mill Creek Drive (scheduled to be paved in 2010)
• Lantern Lane (scheduled to be paved in 2010)
• Crescent Avenue (scheduled to be paved in 2010)
• Heather Road (scheduled to be paved in 2011)
• Indian Path (scheduled to be paved in 2011)
• Crocus Road (scheduled to be paved in 2011)
• Ponderosa Street (scheduled to be paved in 2011)
• Clover Lane (scheduled to be paved in 2011)
