Board of Supervisors Recognize Teen For Attaining Eagle Scout Badge

The Lower Southampton Board of Supervisors approved a resolution to honor Jared Celona, of Philadelphia, who has attained his Eagle Scout badge.

Celona, the son of the township finance officer Frank Celona, began his Boy Scout career in 1999 at St. Christopher Parish in Philadelphia. He has been active in all scouting activites as an assistant senior patrol leader, assistant patrol leader and quarter master.

The Archbishop Ryan High School senior completed a service project at by renovating and restoring a circular garden area along with a flagpole, benches and memorial plaque. The memorial park was dedicated to a celebrated veteran Russell Elliot.
