Victims of Middletown Township Fire ID'd

There were no working smoke detectors in the home, authorities said.

A husband and wife have been identified by authorities as the two people killed in a Bucks County house fire Tuesday night.

Raymond Jenkins, 66, and Caroline Jenkins, 65, have been identified as the victims of the fire that broke out around 8:25 p.m. in a home on the 300 block of North Elmwood Avenue in Middletown Township.

The fire started in the basement of the home, ABC reported, adding that there were no working smoke detectors in the home.

The fire remains under investigation.
