Troopers Respond to Drug Incidents, Warrants, DUI, Underage Drinking, Casino Thefts

The following information was provided by State Police at the Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

Between July 22-25,  responded to the following incidents:

On July 22 at 12:36 p.m., police stopped a vehicle driven by Christopher R. Geier, 21, of Elizabethville, on westbound Woodhaven Road in Bensalem for a traffic violation. Geier was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. He faces possession charges in district court. Trooper Carrie Gula investigated the incident.

On July 22 at 5:20 p.m., Sarah J. Francht, 29, went to the state police Trevose station to update her Megan’s Law registration and was found to be wanted in Philadelphia for a probation violation. She was turned over to Philadelphia police warrant unit. Trooper Anibal Santiago investigated the incident.

On July 23 at 12:18 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by David. L. Meske, 41, of Langhorne, at Street and Mechanicsville roads for erratic driving. Meske was found to be intoxicated. He was given a blood test, processed and released. He faces DUI charges in district court. Trooper Craig Acord investigated the incident.

On July 24 at 1:10 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Nyasia T. Leonard, 20, of Trenton, on I-95 northbound at milepost 37.9 for traffic violations. Leonard was found to be intoxicated and under 21. She was arrested and faces charges in district court. Police also arrested Kenique A. Bethea, 18, of Trenton, who was a passenger in the vehicle. She was also found to be intoxicated. She was arrested for underage drinking. Troopers Matthew Lopresto and Craig Acord investigated.

On July 24 at 4:40 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 northbound at Quarry Road in Lower Makefield. Police arrested a passenger, Menlor Karbah, 20, of Trenton, for underage drinking. He received a citation. Trooper Matthew Lopresto investigated the incident.

On July 24 at 7:20 p.m., state police responded to  for a reported theft. Police said an 81-year-old female from Somerset, N.J. left a $320 voucher in a slot machine and walked away. A 61-year-old male from Philadelphia then took the voucher and redeemed it. The suspect was located and made full restitution. No charges were filed because the victim declined prosecution. Trooper Michael Raley investigated the incident.

On July 25 at 3:43 a.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft. Police said a 59-year-old male from Burlington, N.J., dropped a voucher worth $104 on the casino floor. A suspect described as an unknown white or Asian male was seen on video cashing the voucher before exiting the casino. Trooper Craig Acord investigated the incident.

On July 25 at 10 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Edwin Alfonso, 37, of Camden, on I-95 northbound at Exit 37 for a traffic violation. He didn’t have identification so he was transported to the Trevose station for live scan fingerprinting. Police discovered that he was an illegal immigrant wanted by U.S. Customs and Immigration officials for 18 years. He was detained in Bucks County Prison waiting for Customs officials to transport him to Philadelphia for federal proceedings. Trooper Daniel Onisick investigated the incident.
