Trevose Beer Burglary Suspect Believed to be Bensalem, Philadelphia Suspect

Lower Southampton Police believe that the suspect believed to have burglarized Trevose Beer is the same suspect involved in recent Bensalem and Philadelphia burglaries.

Surveillance cameras in the Trevose Square Shopping Center and caught a suspect breaking into Trevose Beer in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 11.

Lower Southampton Detective Eric Landamia said the actor in this incident is believed to be the same actor in recent and burglaries -- the police report of this incident noted that the actor in this incident had the same "MO" of the actor in those burglaries.

responded to Trevose Beer on the 500 block of Andrews Road in Trevose after receiving an alert of an alarm activation.

At about 1:15 a.m., officers found the front glass door had been smashed and a broken cinder block at the door on the sidewalk and within the business.

The beer store owner said that 10 cartons of cigarettes valued at $60 each and 60 loose packs of cigarettes valued at $6 each were taken from a display case. The approximate value of the theft is $960.

Officers inspected the entry point and counter and found no signs of physical evidence.

A witness told police that he was leaving when he heard an alarm in the area of an ATM maching, which is next to the beer store. He stated that when he looked over, he saw a dark colored SUV quickly drive off from the area of the ATM, u-turning in the parking lot and exiting the parking lot by turning left onto Brownsville Road.

This vehicle matches the description of the vehicle that has been involved in the Bensalem and Philadelphia burglaries.
