The police department regularly receives suspicious persons/vehicle reports in the areas of schools "because people, rightly so, are hyper vigilant about schools and strangers," Krimmel said.

"Unfortunately, Lower Southampton Elementary School has the SEPTA bus stop and is on a main road with a lot of foot and vehicular traffic. We regularly patrol this area, especially with it being next door to the station," he stated.
