Subjects Return to Attempt to Steal Truck Windshield

Lower Southampton Police received a report of an attempted theft of a windshield from a pickup truck parked in a driveway.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lower Southampton Police Department.

At about 10:12 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, police were dispatched to a home on the 1900 block of Marshall Avenue in Oakford for the report of two male subjects in the complainant's driveway.

While officers were enroute to the residence, the subjects reportedly entered an undescribed pickup truck and fled down Marshall Avenue toward Wood Road.

The complainant told police that was in his first floor living room when he saw one male in his pickup truck that was parked in his driveway and another male standing beside it.

The subjects quickly exited the truck, the complainant stated, and ran to a pickup truck parked on Phillips Place and left the area. The complainant could not describe the subjects other than they were white males. There was no damage to the truck and nothing was missing from it.

The complainant told police that Monday, Sept. 17, he discovered that someone attempted to remove the windshield from the same truck. He found that the molding around the window was partially removed on the driver's side.

The complainant suspects that the same subjects returned to steal the windshield again.
