State Police Report Five Drunk Drivers

Incidents occurred along I-95.

Between June 3 and June 8,  responded to the following DUI incidents:

On June 3 at 2:10 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Peter Cortes, 42, of Bristol, on I-95 northbound at Tennis Avenue for a traffic violation. He was found to be intoxicated. Cortes was arrested for DUI, processed and released. Trooper Steven Moyer investigated the incident.

On June 3 at 9:18 p.m., Michael Nugent, 43, of Philadelphia, was involved in a crash on Woodhaven Road near I-95. He was found to be intoxicated and arrested for DUI. Nugent was given a blood test, processed and released. Trooper Matthew Thom investigated the incident.

On June 5 at 1:15 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Kirill Levin, 22, of Philadelphia, on I-95 at milepost 34.8 for a traffic violation. He was found to be intoxicated and arrested for DUI. Levin was given a blood test, processed and released. Trooper Steven Moyer investigated the incident.

On June 5 at 2:25 a.m., state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on the ramp from Street Road eastbound to I-95 southbound. A vehicle driven by Christopher Scott, 48, of Bensalem, struck the guiderail. Scott was transported to Aria Hospital for moderate injuries. He was found to be under the influence. Charges to be filed for DUI, police said. Trooper Steven Moyer investigated the incident.

On June 8 at 4:10 a.m., state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on I-95 southbound at milepost 37.8 in which Julius Roh, 23, of Philadelphia, fell asleep at the wheel. His vehicle struck the guiderail and overturned. Roh sustained an injury to his arm. Bensalem Rescue transported Roh to Aria Health Torresdale. Chemical testing was performed and Roh faces DUI charges. Trooper Kyle Hartman investigated the incident.
