Police Release Sketch of Home Invader

The Lower Southampton Police Department released a sketch of a man they believe broke into a home February 21.

The Department released a sketch of a man they believe invaded a home on the 600 block of Woodlyn Drive in Langhorne February 21.

Lower Southampton Police Detective Shane Hearn stated that he computer-generated sketch was developed from the victim's description of a 5-foot, 5-inch-tall Hispanic man.

According to , the resident was on the first floor of the residence with her two-month-old child when she heard someone banging on the front door. She looked out one of the front windows and didn't see anyone standing near the front door; as she was looking out the window, she heard a window break in the rear of the house.

The woman reported that she ran to a second floor bedroom, locked the door and put her child in the closet. The complainant then heard someone walking up the steps and then tried to open her bedroom door, but the door was locked. The suspect then kicked the door in, stared at her for about 30 seconds and then ran down the steps and left through the front door toward a mid-2000s red four-door sedan.

Nothing was taken from the home, but the damage to the door is estimated at $225.
