Police Investigate Two Pick Pocketing Incidents

Theft
100 block of E. Street Rd, Feasterville
Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012
A complainant reported that while shopping at Acme, her wallet was taken from her purse. She stated that a male subject approached her while she was shopping and asked her if she needed help, assisted her briefly and then quickly left. She noticed her wallet missing several minutes later. A short time later, her wallet was found at Giant while officers were investigating another theft incident. The only thing missing from the wallet was $100 cash.

Theft
200 block of E. Street Rd, Feasterville
Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012
The Arby's manager reported the theft of employees' cash from the purses at Arby's. The two complainants told police that their purses were in a store room in the back of the restaurant's kitchen area at the time of the theft. Access to that area is controlled so it is likely another employee committed the theft. One complainant had $210 cash stolen and the other had $350 cash was stolen.

Criminal Mischief
1800 block of Bridgetown Pk, Feasterville

The complainant reported damage to a metal picnic table between Sept. 23 and this day at L & L Lift Truck. 

Disorderly Conduct
Unit block of Dolton Rd, Feasterville

A complainant reported his neighbor threatened him. Police made contact with the complainant who said that his neighbor from down the street got in his face and screamed at him while he was walking his dog a few minutes prior. He said that another neighbor told the subject that the complainant called the police about the incident, which prompted his aggressive behavior. The complainant stated that the subject cursed at him and said he wanted to hit him. He also stated that the subject is known to carry a handgun. Police went to the subject's residence to contact him about the incident, but he wasn't home. The subject's neighbor across the street told police that the subject just left, but that she had seen the whole incident. The subject will be cited for disorderly conduct.

Fraud
500 block of E. Myrtle Ave, Trevose
Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012
The complainant reported that on Sept. 26 at about 8:40 a.m., she had her mother's debit card to buy groceries for her at the Giant in Langhorne. She has permission to use the card and her name is also on the account. She lost the debit card and didn't notice it missing until Sept. 27. She immediately notified the American Heritage Federal Credit Union. She discovered that the card had been used to make a total of $543.96 in purchases at four stores in the Oxford Valley Mall. None of the stores said they had survellance cameras. She closed the account and the credit union is looking into the incident.
