The complainant reported to police that her employer informed her that an unknown female applied for food stamps using the complainant's social security number.

The victim sells paintings online and a female contacted him about a $1,500 painting for sale on his website. The female sent him a check for $4,500 from South Korea and asked the victim to cash, take what she owes him and send her back the difference. When the victim attempted to cash the check, he was told by the bank that the check was fraudulent and the account didn't exist.
