Police Blotter June 28

Incidents and arrests as reported by the Lower Southampton Police Department.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lower Southampton police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Public Drunkenness
1900 block of Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville
Tuesday, June 28, 2011
Two complainants called police at about 5:15 p.m. and reported that an intoxicated male was sitting on the bench outside of the main entrance to the . When police arrived on the scene, Raymond Connor, 48 of Bensalem, was observed sitting on a bench with his head hanging down; he appeared to be sleeping. Police woke him up and he appeared disoriented and had a strong odor of alcohol coming from him. Connor produced his ID upon police request, and twice dropped the contents of his wallet on the ground. The first time he dropped the wallet contents, he only picked up some of the items and nearly fell head first onto the ground. His back pack and cell phone were retrieved from inside of the library and he was escorted to one of the officer's vehicles; he was staggering and unable to walk in a straight line. Connor was taken home and will be cited by mail for public drunkenness. One of the complainants, who is a library employee, said that Connor has been intoxicated at the library on several other occasions and the library staff does not want him back at the library.

Harassment
300 block of E. Street Road, Trevose
Tuesday, June 28, 2011
At about 7:21 p.m., a employee reported to police a physical altercation between a male and female behind the store. The Sunoco employee reported that Mark Vallette, Jr. 18 of Feasterville, was hitting the female victim. A passing motorist also reported this incident to police. When police arrived on the scene, the two were standing next to each other. Vallette told police that he did not want the female to walk home alone. The female told police that she was not injured; police did not see any visible injuries. She told police that Vallette is her ex-boyfriend and she went to his house to talk to him. Vallette took her phone to see who was text messaging her; she then left his house and began walking home. She told police that Vallette was trying to stop her from walking home and grabbed her around the neck and pushed her. The female was transported home and Vallette will be cited for harassment by mail.
