Police Blotter June 25 - June 28

Incidents and arrests as reported by the Lower Southampton Police Department.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lower Southampton police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Driving Under the Influence
100 block of Pinehill Road, Feasterville
Sunday, June 26, 2011
Police responded to a report shortly after 2 a.m. of a vehicle left the roadway and traveled down an embankment. It was also reported that two people were fighting in the vehicle. Upon arriving at the scene, Anton Cherepaha, 26 of Philadelphia, was found sitting in the driver seat, refusing to leave the car. Two passengers were found walking away from the car. Police reported that Cherepaha appeared intoxicated, smelled of alcohol, his eyes were blood shot, speech slurred and unsteady on his feet. Cherepaha was asked to perform some field tests, which police said he completed "unsatisfactory." A preliminary breath test resulted in .27 percent. Cherepaha was placed under arrest for DUI; he refused to consent to having  blood drawn for a chemical test. He was transported to the Bensalem Police Department where he was processed and live scanned and transported to Lower Southampton Police Department. A summons will be filed against Cherepaha for DUI.

100 block of 6th Street, Feasterville

An unknown actor punctured the driver's side front tire sometime overnight. The car was parked in the complainant's driveway. Police reported that the actor appeared to use a "knife type instrument" to puncture the tire.

Theft
600 block of E. Bristol Road, Feasterville

The complainant reported to police that on Friday, June 24, he was fueling his car at the Sunoco. He placed his wallet on the top of his car and then pulled away and the wallet fell off somewhere in the parking lot or road; he said he didn't realize he left his wallet until Monday. When he checked his Mastercard account, he found that someone purchased fuel at the Sunoco with his credit card. $30 cash, a $50 Sports Authority gift card, $150 SEPTA pass, $30 in SEPTA tickets, an Aetna health card, a Drexel University ID card, his driver's license, subway card, two Wachovia debit cards and his Mastercard were in the wallet.

1000 block of Bustleton Pike, Feasterville

It was reported to police that the complainant's son's car had been damaged on two separate occasions while parked at the . The damage was done to the muffler and brake line.

700 block of Fairview Avenue, Feasterville
Tuesday, June 28, 2011
The complainant reported to police that two tires on his truck were slashed. Police observed two puncture marks close together on the tire wall.
