So lets see, The only actual arrest that was made was because a citizen called the police and identified someone who was wanted. It's funny, I read these things all the time and the only arrests ever made are for DUI. These cops solve no crimes and are a waste of or taxpayer money. They act as nothing but ATM machines for the township. Lower Southampton police are useless and should all be fired. Have you ever seen the chief of police for Lower Souithampton? He is so fat and out of shape it's an embarrasment to the township. He couldn't catch a snail. The man can barely get out of his township paid for police vehicle he sits in. Yet he is suppose to lead and set an example for the other officers. What a joke!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Mine differs greatly from yours. Every time my family or I have needed the Lower Southampton police department, they have responded promptly, professionally and courteously. They also found and arrested the people responsible for stealing our property. Our police put their lives on the line for us every day. How wonderful that we live in a community where the most often reported crimes are petty thief and DUI. I would not want it any other way.

I second what Maria has said about our Police Department. They do an outstanding job. They put their lives on the line everyday. I am glad our community is protected by these professionals. They respond immediately when needed. The above also applies to the Fire Departments and EMT's. JOB WELL DONE.

Like I said, they catch no one but kids and drunks. To write a ticket for speeding it takes three of them. What a waste. To want to be a cop you need to be a jerk in the first place. Someone who just wants to mess with people. All the cops in Lower Southampton think they are better than the prople they are supposedly out there to protect and work for. They have horrible attitudes, are rude, and abusive. They are nothing but arrogant jerks sitting in the Sunoco parking lot. drinking coffee and talking on cell phones. And when is the last time you heard of a lower southampton cop putting his life on the line. They walk around with the combats boots looking like storm troopers and at the hint of any trouble they run and call in the big boys. Pure bullies to the utmost degree.
feasterville resident June 20, 2012 at 06:06 PM
Bill, they would be there if YOU needed them.
feasterville resident June 20, 2012 at 06:08 PM
In every profession there are less than desirable individuals, but to lump all of the police in one category is unjustified.
feasterville resident June 20, 2012 at 06:09 PM
You must have had one heck of an experience.

Try putting any one of these hucklberry Lower Southampton Cops in Philly to be a cop and they wouldn't last a day. They would get but kicked in the first hour of being on duty. I made a mistake, now they sit in the church parking lot so they can stay in the shade and do nothi8ng. Like I said, they are nothing but tax men working for the sherriff of Nottingham. When the fines they hand out become a part of the yearly budget for the township you know they are out to do nothing but rape the public to pay the budget, Thats why they put out the little cones on street road once a week and pull law abiding citizens over to do on site road inspections of vehicles. Isn't that why you get your car inspected once a year? Why do they need to put out cops with combat boots, Night stiucks, pepper spray, tasers and guns to pull over random vehicles for inspection? The look is to scare you into submission. They want the money. They are crooks working for crooks.
