Officer Brian Walter responded to a report of a fraud complaint regarding items purchased over e-mail. The complainant, manager of Chemical Concepts on Pike Road, told police that a subject has been ordering a special engine cleaner spray gun starting back on May 15, 2011. The complainant stated that he has sent in three orders, two of which were already shipped and received, and one that he just put a stop on after realizing he was getting scammed. A total of 120 spray guns have already been received by the subject at this time, which are valued at $18, 318.05. The latest order was for 60 more spray guns and was stopped at this time.

The complainant stated that he received a phone call from an uknown male claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. The male advised the complainant he won $2.5 million and requested that the complainant go to Walgreens to put $400 on a gift card. The complainant hung up on the male.
