Police Blotter Feb. 17 - Feb. 20

Incidents and arrests as reported by the Lower Southampton Police Department.

Burglary
Unit block of Sunrise Ct, Feasterville
Friday, Feb. 17, 2012
A homeowner reported to police that she returned home at 3 p.m. and found the front door to the house wide open. The other homeowner reported leaving the house at 1:30 p.m. and was unsure if he remembered to lock the front door. There was no sign of force to the front door and the house is up for sale and the realtor's lock box appeared to be untouched. The unknown suspect appeared to go directly to the master bedroom, went through the drawers and cleaned out the jewelry boxes.

DUI
1900 block of Brownsville Rd, Trevose
Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012
At about 6:05 a.m., police were dispatched to 7 Eleven on Brownsville Road on a report of a subject passed out in a vehicle. Police discovered Christopher Luszczak, 22 of Bensalem, seated in the driver's seat with his left leg out of the car. The vehicle was running and was in neutral without its parking brake engaged. It took police several attempts to wake Luszczak up and they detected an "obvious" odor of alcohol coming from him. They also observed 16-ounce cans of Miller High Life in the back seat of the vehicle. When Luszczak woke up, he told police he pulled over because he was falling asleep and he admitted to drinking a forty and "something else." He was unsteady on his feet when he exited the vehicle. He failed a field sobriety test and was placed under arrest for DUI. He consented to a blood test at St. Mary Medical Center.

Criminal Mischief
100 block of Brookside Dr, Feasterville
Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012
During the overnight hours, an uknown actor intentionally knocked over a six-foot white, wood awning that stands over a walkway leading up to a residence. The awning was broken into several pieces, which costs an estimated $250.

Theft
100 block of Hazel Ave, Feasterville
Monday, Feb. 20, 2012
The complainant reported the theft of his mailbox sometime overnight; the metal portion of the box was taken and the post was left behind.

Vandalism
1800 block of N. Meadowbrook Rd, Feasterville
Monday, Feb. 20, 2012
The complainant stated that an unknown actor placed two damaged mailboxes on top of her light pole at the end of her driveway sometime overnight. One mailbox did not have an address, but police returned the other mailbox to its address. Police observed three mailboxes on this block that appeared to have been hit with a bat.

Fraud
600 block of Ave C, Trevose
Monday, Feb. 20, 2012
The victim reported that he recently discovered fraudulent charges made with his bank card. Two charges were made for $495 each at a Walgreens in Jamestown, NY. Another charge was for $100 at a Rite Aid in Baltimore, MD. All three charges took place February 16 within two hours of each other.
