DUI
Jay St, Feasterville
Wednesday, July 25, 2012
While on patrol, an officer observed a SUV in the opposite lane stopped on School Lane at 1:24 a.m. An officer pulled behind the vehicle and beeped, which began moving again. Officers followed the vehicle as it was drove out of the lane of travel, onto the shoulder of the road, on the grass and nearly striking several poles and signs. The driver, David Klein, 33 of Feasterville, was pulled over and officers made contact with him. He told officers that he was taking his dog for a ride. His eyes appeared bloodshot and he had pin point pupils, which officers noted is usual given the darkness. Klein told officers that he had taken a sleep aid and he was asked to get out and perform field sobriety tests, which he failed. He also registered .14 percent on a breath test. Klein was taken into custody for DUI and consented to a blood draw. He will be charged via summons on receipt of lab results.
