Police Blotter June 2 & 3

Incidents and arrests as reported by the Lower Southampton Police Department.

Theft
600 block of Old Street Road, Trevose
Thursday, June 2, 2011
A car parked in the Arbor Lane Apartment parking lot had its back window smashed and laptop, Ipad, a bag containing tools and a bag containing two drills were stolen. The cost of damage and theft is estimated at $2,600.

Criminal Mischief
1300 block of Buck Road, Feasterville
Thursday, June 2, 2011
A metal washer was sling shot into a window of a residence, breaking the window.

Thursday, June 2, 2011
Approximately $3,000 in cash was stolen from underneath a mattress.

Thursday, June 2, 2011
A car at the Top of the Hill Apartments had its driver side window smashed. A GPS and Ipod were stolen from the locked car.

A locked car at the Croftwood Apartments had its passenger side front window smashed. A brown Bible case was taken.

Eggs were thrown at a car driving by the Kopper Kettle by juveniles.

A car was egged reportedly by juveniles.

DUI
West Maple Avenue, Langhorne
Friday, June 3, 2011
Police responded to an accident when the odor of alcohol was smelled on Eric Smith, 66 of Langhorne. Police reported that Smith's speech was slurred and appeared to be unsteady. Smith told police that he would be unable to perform field sobriety tests because of his age and is not steady on his feet. A preliminary breath test inticated an alcohol level over .08. Smith was transported to Saint Mary Medical Center for blood tests and was then transported and processed at the Bensalem Police station. A summons will be filed once the blood analysis report is received.
