Philadelphia Man Charged with Assault, Firearms Offenses

Lower Southampton Police arrested and charged a Philadelphia man with assault and firearms violations, in addition to related charges.

According to Lower Southampton Police, Michael Ness, 21 of Philadelphia, was charged with aggrevated assault, carrying a firearm without a license, simple assault, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats.

These charges and Ness' subsequent arrest stemmed from a January 23 incident in which he pointed a gun at the victim and said "This is how I play" in the parking lot.

During Ness' arrest, police discovered marijuana smoking devices in plain view in the apartment he was staying in with Victoria Falco, 19 of Philadelphia.

Ness was arraigned and set to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Falco was charged with possession of a controlled substance and underage drinking. She will receive a summons.
