Man Solicits Door to Door Without a Permit

The complainant stated that she received a phone call from a subject who said they work for Verizon. The subject told the complainant they needed her account number so she could access her messages. The complainant hung up and called Verizon, they advised her there is no reason anyone would call and request that information. The complainant attempted to call the number back the subject called from, but found that the line was disconnected.

400 block of E. Street Rd, Feasterville
Monday, Aug. 20, 2012
The complainant reported that sometime the day before an unknown subject threw red paint on his white Hyundai that was parked at the Croftwood Apartments.

Township Ordinance -- Soliciting
300 block of Pheasant Run, Feasterville
Monday, Aug. 20, 2012
A complainant reported a male soliciting home remodeling door to door. Officers made contact with the male, William Brooks of Power Home Remodeling of Chester County. Brooks reported being aware that most townships require a permit to solicit door to door and chose to take his chances without obtaining one. He will receive a citation via mail for failure to obtain such a permit.

Someone spray painted the complainant's box truck, causing about $400 worth of damage.

Sometime overnight, unknown actors wrote profanities in pink latex paint on vehicles. The actor also covered the front headlights, rear lenses and license plates with paint. The can was then thrown in the complainant's pool.

Burglary
Unit block of E. Endfield Rd, Trevose
Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012
Police were dispatched on the report of a burglary and made contact with the victim and homeowner. The victim reported that he left the house at about 6:30 p.m. When he left, he said the front door was locked, but when he returned home at about 10 p.m. it was unlocked. He discovered that his safe had been ripped out of the shelving unit it had been screwed into and was missing. He also found that the key to his motorcycle was missing. The complainant reported that the safe contained a handgun, $1,200 cash, a watch and two Phillies tickets.

The complainant's house was egged sometime overnight. The complainant stated the side of her house and trailer were hit with eggs.

Theft
700 block of Springhill Ave, Feasterville
Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012
The complainant reported that his bike was stolen from the front of his house. The bike was located outside against the garage when it was stolen.
