Males Steal Cigarettes, Wawa Stamper from Convenience Stores

The complainant went outside this night and observed the interior light on in his vehicle. He checked his vehicle and found that someone had gone through the glove box and center console. Two packs of cigarettes were the only things missing.

Sometime overnight between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m., unknown actors entered the complainants' unlocked 2005 Chrysler Town and Country mini van and rummaged through it. They went through a back pack in the vehicle that contained one of the complainant's wallet, driver's license, about $500 cash, a credit card and other personal ID cards. All of this and a tool bag were taken by the actors. The tool bag was found with its contents on the ground next to one of their other vehicles.

200 block of Katie Dr, Feasterville

The complainant reported a theft from her unlocked Ford Explorer sometime overnight. Three bags of baby clothes and a newly purchased radiator were removed from her vehicle. The total value of the theft is $230.

The complainant was having dinner at the Buck Hotel when her ex-husband arrived with her son and started to instigate a fight with the man she was with. Her ex-husband's girlfriend works at the Buck Hotel and called the ex-husband and told him they were there. All three eventually went out to the parking lot where the ex-husband continued to try to instigate a fight with the other man. When they advised him they were going to call the police, he left. The ex-husband will be cited via mail with harassment and the girlfriend will be cited via mail with disorderly conduct.

600 block of Rosewood Ave, Trevose

Police were dispatched to Wawa for the report of a retail theft. A store employee reported that two male subjects were in the store for a while, they both left and then came back in about 5 minutes. Once inside the store, one subject wearing a blue t-shirt, tan shorts, black sneakers and a baseball hat reached under the check out counter and grabbed a pack of cigarettes. Both subjects fled the store on foot on Brownsville Road toward Bristol Road.

While at Wawa, an officer was dispatched to 7-11 on the 1900 block of Brownsville Road for a retail theft. The store employee reported that two males entered the store. Once of the males, described wearing the same outfit as the subject in the Wawa theft, reached over the check out counter and grabbed two packs of cigarettes. Both subjects fled the store on foot on Brownsville Road toward Street Road.

The area was checked and the two subjects were located on Brownsville Road. They were handcuffed and patted down for weapons and contraband. Officers found pills, a small smoking device and the stolen pack of cigarettes on the 21-year-old subject from Philadelphia. A Wawa ink stamper was found in the 14-year-old subject's back pack.

The underage subject will be cited for public drunkenness and underage drinking. The 21-year-old subject will be charged with retail theft and the drug act via summons.

DUI
Philmont Ave, Feasterville

Officers responded to Street Road and Philmont Ave for the report of a two-vehicle crash. One driver reported that he was stopped at a traffic light in the curb lane of E. Street Road. He reported that the other driver came up quickly from behind and struck the rear passenger side of his vehicle. He said that the other driver then swerved onto the right shoulder but the driver side of the vehicle struck his. The other driver, a 23 year old from Hatboro, said that the vehicle she hit stopped quickly and "it just happened." While speaking to her, the officer detected the odor of alcohol on her person and that her eyes were bloodshot and glassy. She registered .17 percent on a breath test and was also driving with an expired license. She was taken into custody and consented to a blood draw. She will be charged with DUI and related traffic offenses upon receipt of lab results.

200 block of Andrews Rd, Trevose

The complainant reported the theft of an external battery box from his truck, which was parked in the parking lot of his business, Kalanty Trucking. The box had a value of $300 and was bolted to the truck.
