Five Caught Attempting to Steal at Neshaminy Mall

Bensalem Township Police Department released a recent blotter that included seven incidents of retail theft, which resulted in 11 arrests. Many of the incidents occurred at the Neshaminy Mall.

Police responded to seven incidents of retail theft between Friday, Jan. 4 and Sunday, Jan. 6, according to a recent Bensalem Township Police blotter. 11 people were arrested and charged.

On Friday, Jan. 4 just before 1:30 p.m., a 51-year-old woman from the 3200 block of Fairhill Road was arrested and charged with retail theft. She was issued a citation at the 2300 block of Street Rd. 

Later, Bensalem police arrested two people with retail theft from Macy's Department Store at Neshaminy Mall. Just before 7 p.m., a 25-year-old and a 34-year-old, both who had no fixed address, were arrested and charged with retail theft and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail each.

On Saturday, Jan. 5 at 1 p.m., police arrested and charged two people with retail theft at the 3400 block of Horizon Boulevard. in Trevose. The 30-year-old from the 3500 block of Corn Crib Lane in Huntingdon Valley and the 29-year-old from the 600 block of Coventry Lane in Croydon will receive a summons.

Then at 2:24 p.m., a 60-year-old man from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with retail theft at the Sears Department Store in Neshaminy Mall. He was issued a citation.

Two hours later, at 4:12 p.m., two other men were arrested at the Sears Department Store in Neshaminy Mall. A 33-year-old man from Dushore, Pa., was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail, and a 30-year-old male from Mildred, Pa., was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail, the police report said.

At 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, two men were arrested and charged with retail theft on the 2300 block of Street Road in Bensalem. The 32-year-old from the 2500 block of Belleview Drive in Bensalem and then 26-year-old of the 400 block of New Road in Southampton were sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail each.

Bensalem Police then arrested and charged a 33-year-old male from Philadelphia on the 3400 block of Horizon Boulevard in Trevose on Sunday, Jan. 6. The man was arrested at 1:25 p.m. and was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
