Feasterville Sunoco Robbed at Gunpoint

The suspect used a .45-caliber handgun to steal approximately $200 form the gas station.

The Lower Southampton Police Department are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred early Wednesday morning at the Sunoco Gas Station on Street Road in Feasterville.

According to a statement from the cashier, at approximately 3:30 a.m. the suspect entered the store, showed a black handgun and said, "Give me the money."

When the cashier had difficulty opening the register, the gunman said, "You have two more seconds." After opening the register, the cashier placed the drawer on the counter. The robber removed approximately $204 in mostly $10 and $20 bills and fled the scene, according to police.

A K9 patrol tracked the suspect as far as the nearby KMart, but lost the scent. According to police, a review of surveillance video from the store showed a white male, approximately six feet tall with a medium build, wearing a gray, zip-up hoodie and baggy, dark, gray sweatpants. The suspect had a light-colored covering over his face.

Police say the video shows the suspect holding a .45-caliber pistol while demanding money.
