Driver Charged in Bus Crash That Injured Neshaminy Student

A few dozen teens and adults from Bucks County were injured after a charter bus crashed in Boston Feb 2. The driver is now being charged.

The Philadelphia driver of the bus that crashed in Boston, injuring local students, has been charged for driving negligently by Massachusetts’s officials, according to the Boston Herald.

Neshaminy High School sophomore Matt Cruz, 17, was seriously hurt in the Feb. 2 crash with broken neck and a broken back. He returned from the hospital in Boston in early March, still recovering.

The investigation determined that the driver, Samuel J. Jackson, 67, allegedly failed to heed warning signs prohibiting buses from that stretch of roadway while he was operating the bus, according to The Herald.
