Cops Find Hard Hat, Crowbar in Car of Wanted Man

A 29-year-old Lower Southampton man was arrested on parole violations Wednesday night.

An alarm at a building lead to the arrest of a man wanted by county authorities, police said.

Ryan Schussler, 29, of Creekwood Drive, was arrested by Lower Southampton patrol officers late Wednesday night.

Police responded to an alarm in the 400 block of Pennsylvania Boulevard at 11 p.m. and were checking the parking lot of the building when they spotted a man in a Buick sedan duck, according to an incident report.

An officer went to see what the man was doing and discovered he was wanted by authorities for a parole violation, police said.

Officials searched the Buick and found a hard hat, several tools and a crowbar. A bottle of prescription Amoxicillin was found the in center console of the vehicle, police said.

Schussler was detained and turned over to county sheriffs.
