For the second time in two months, vehicle parts have been stolen from Central Bucks Transportation.
The Lower Southampton Police Department reported that 12 vehicle batteries and six catalytic converters were stolen from the company's retired vehicles that used to transport students.
Sometime between Wednesday, Nov. 21 and Monday, Nov. 26, unknown actors crossed a 4-foot gate, climbed over an 8-foot high fence and entered the secure yard of the Trevose company.
While in the taxi company's yard, the actors cut the batteries and catalytic converters out of the vehicles.
An employee of the bus company told police that Central Bucks Transportation is working on a security system and will have cameras mounted throughout the yard and building as soon as possible.
Police reported this past October that ten catalytic converters were stolen from this taxi company sometime between Sept. 1 and Oct. 1.
