Armed Robbery Occurs Overnight in Feasterville

Lower Southampton Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the early morning hours.

received a call at about 2:41 a.m. with the complainant reporting that he heard a female screaming on the unit block of Dukes Way in Feasterville.

The complainant saw two white males in their 20s both dressed in black running toward Philmont Avenue. He also reported that they appeared to be carrying white and black plastic bags.

According to the police report, once officers arrived on scene at about 2:46 a.m., they quickly determined that an armed robbery had just occurred.

The victim reported that she was returning home from being out with friends at Philadelphia restaurant. She was walking toward her front door when one of the actors approached her holding a "gun-shaped object" that had a "nickel-sized blue light." The victim told police that she screamed and the actor told her "Don't scream and hand over the bag."

A second actor approached at this time and also told the victim not to scream and the victim handed over her purse.

The victim described the first actor as a white male in his late teens to early 20s, thin to medium build, about 5'7", wearing a black hoodie and sweat pants. She could only describe the second actor as a white male, about 5'5" and a thin build.

Police tried to track the actors with police dogs and by the victim's cell phone, however the actors quickly turned it off.
