Visit Bucks County & BCRC Launch “The Parks of Bucks County Scavenger Hunt”

Looking for a fun, family activity to celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend? Get outdoors and explore Bucks County’s 500 miles of trails, parks and playgrounds with this exciting contest!

In partnership with the Bucks County Recreation Council (BCRC) and the Bucks County Coalition of the No Child Left Inside movement, Visit Bucks County has launched a scavenger hunt to encourage outdoor play and awareness of Bucks County’s numerous outdoor spaces and parks. Download the game board on Visit Bucks Countys Facebook page. Promotion ends August 3rd.

Now lace up your sneaks and head outdoors to the participating locations:

●     Heritage Conservancy

●     Bucks County Visitor Centers (Bensalem, New Hope)

●     Peddler’s Village

●     Bensalem

●     Buckingham

●     Doylestown

●     Doylestown Borough

●     Dublin

●     Falls

●     Lower Southampton

●     Middletown

●     Northampton

●     Newtown

●     Plumstead

●     Upper Southampton

At each park, participants will be tasked with answering a question on the game board. The more questions you answer, the more chances you have to win the Grand Prize;  a two night stay (up to two adults and two children) at the Golden Plough Inn and dinner for four at the Buttonwood Grill in Peddler’s Village. When the game board is completed, drop it off at any of the Bucks County Visitor Centers or mail it to the Bucks County Recreation Council.

Happy Mother’s Day!
