I've been going to Feasterville Laundromat for six months now. I always choose to wash my clothes selecting the hot water cycle. The machines were fine until recently. Last week, I selected the hot water cycle as usual and nothing but cold water came out of the machines. I went to the bathroom to double check. There was no hot water coming out of the sink as well. They seem to have turned off the hot water heater. My guess would be to save money in these cold winter months. My complaint is that they are deceiving customers by doing this. You select to wash your clothes in hot temperature, and all you get is cold water. Mud stains that were on my jeans were still there after being washed when they are usually removed easily with hot water. I feel as if I paid for a service that did not deliver. It is a scam pure and simple. Also the temperature of the thermostat was set to 50 degrees which is not even room temperature.

Overall, turning off the hot water is unethical and non-sanitary for a communal laundromat given that bed bugs are not killed in cold water and travelers use public laundromats that could be transporting bed bugs.

I also think it's unsanitary that now the bathroom has no hot water. I know this matter may not be of utmost significance in the grand scheme of things, but I feel very strongly that alot of illnesses and contagions can be prevented from spreading with simple hygenic practices in communal settings.

Thank you in advance for hearing my concerns.
