Toys for Tots edition of Yuks at the Buck

There will be plenty of ho, ho, hos and ha, ha, has when the Buck Hotel and Mike Dougherty Productions present a Toys for Tots edition of Yuks at the Buck on Thursday, Dec. 6.

The organizers are asking goers to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the popular comedy series at the historic Feasterville venue to benefit the program, whose mission is to distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

“We’re getting into the spirit of the season and want to give back to those less fortunate,” said Buck Hotel owner Brian Rhuling, Jr .

For more than a decade the Ruhling family has transformed the historic Buck Hotel at 1200 Buck Road into a social mecca with live music, legendary disc jockeys and most recently top caliber comedians.

Headlining the December 6 show is the Langhorne comedian, better known as the “Fat Rat Bastard,” Jeff Pirrami. Pirrami can be seen in Gilbert Godfried’s off-Broadway production of Broadway Goes on a Diet, and recently filmed an episode of Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice.

While Pirrami is a regular in Atlantic City, Vegas and the best comedy clubs throughout the country, he is looking forward to the Yuks at the Buck show. “It’s nice to do something in the area and for a good cause. It’s going to be a fun time,” he said.

Vince Valentine, a finalist in 93.3 WMMR’s Philly’s Last Comic Standing, who has performed in Defending the Caveman since 2004, along with the hilarious Philly’s Phunniest finalist Mary Radzinski round out the lineup and are sure to keep the laughs going all night long.
