Lower Southampton Township is excited to announce they will be holding a FREE Electronic Collection Event on Saturday, October 20, 2012. The event will take place from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Lower Southampton Township Municipal Building conveniently located on 1500 Desire Ave. Residents are encouraged to bring their obsolete computers, CRT monitors, cameras, cell phones, fax machines, scanners, printers, TV’s, computer mice, wires and keyboards. Small businesses with less than 50 employees are also encouraged to participate. This event is being sponsored with the generous help of Freedom Credit Union with branch offices located in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties.

All material collected will be responsibly recycled by eForce Compliance, who maintains a zero landfill policy and zero export of hazardous e-waste to developing countries. eForce is Pennsylvania’s only multi-certified electronic recycling company (R2, e-Stewards, ISO 14011) and assures all data media will be destroyed or wiped at their facility.
