Here's a recap of the major Lower Southampton news this week.

The Neshaminy Federation of Teachers [NFT] met Monday night. The NFT members , including work-to-contract and a potentially a strike, at a later date in order to get the "bargaining process moving toward an agreement."

Also at the board meeting, the with a 8-1 vote. They also approved the $21.5 million 2011-12 budget for Bucks County Technical High School, with the Neshaminy District 2011-12 net fiscal payment to be $3,917,355.

The board moved the consideration of School Lane Charter School's application to a special meeting to be held Tuesday, June 28 at 7 p.m. in the Maple Point Middle School auditorium.
