The weather is supposed to be beautiful and rain-free this weekend, so get out and enjoy it at these local events:


Where/when: , 2999 Street Rd, Bensalem, Friday at 5 p.m.
Why go: Teresa Giudice of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" and her mother will kick off Mother's Day weekend with a meet and greet book signing at Parx Casino. Then sample recipes from "Fabulicious!: Teresa's Italian Family Cookbook."
Cost: Free!

Where/when: , 700 York Rd, Warminster, Friday, Satuday & Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why go: You're sure to find a great deal at this huge flea market with more than 50 vendors.

Where/when: 1829 Richill Rd, Feasterville Trevose, Saturday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why go: A local family is hosting this yard sale to raise funds for a trip to Europe with People to People, a program started by President Eisenhower to promote peace throught the understanding of other cultures.

Why go: Do a little spring cleaning and head to the Flea Market sponsored by the Historical Society of Bensalem Township. Beverages, breakfast and lunch foods will be available for purchase during the flea market.

Why go:
Multiple families will be holding a yard sale in the Maplewood Swim Club parking lot. The money the families' paid for a table space is being donated to the Susan G. Komen fund.

Where/when: 1641 Old York Rd, Hartsville, Saturday at 1 p.m.
Why go: Learn about the history of chocolate at the Moland House and watch a demonstration how a chocolate beverage was prepared in Colonial times. There will also be a variety of chocolates to sample.

Where/when: , 300 Veterans Cir, Warminster, Sunday at 9 a.m.
Why go: Proceeds benefit the Wheeled Scotsman Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering the physically disabled with the gift of mobility and the right to independence. There will also be a 1 mile fun run for kids.
Cost: Pre-registration is $20/adult, $15/child; Race day registration is $25/adult, $20/child.

Where/when: , 284 E Street Rd, Feasterville Trevose, Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The dinner menu begins at noon.
Why go: There will be a diverse display of breakfast and lunch items sure to fullfill everyone's taste and preferences. Owner and chef Scott will be creating your omletes to your liking, while Chef Brandon and the entire CHOW crew will make sure you have a wonderful mother's day meal. Reservations suggested, call 216-357-9988.

Where/when: , 1201 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville Trevose, Sunday beginning at 10 a.m.
Why go: Head to the Buck Hotel for Mother's Day brunch or dinner. There will be a seating for brunch every half hour from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. For dinner, the hotel will be serving its holiday menu from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Or you can enjoy the Grand Dinner Buffet. Reservations and deposits are required.
Cost: $38.95/adult, $15.95/child 10 years old and younger.

Where/when: , 1134 Street Rd, Southampton, Sunday beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Why go: Celebrate Mother's Day by treating your mother or wife with brunch or dinner at Kenny's. Reservations are now being accepted for brunch. There will be three seatings at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. If you'd rather enjoy dinner, the buffet begins at 4 p.m. and reservations are suggested.
Cost: Brunch is $26.95/adult, $12.99/children 12 and younger, $5.99/children 5 and younger. Dinner is $29.99/adult, $13.99/children 12 and younger, $6.99/children 5 and younger.

Why go: Do something different on Mother's Day this year with the whole family. Enjoy fresh chocolate covered strawberries while painting a masterpiece.
