Regional Roundup: Man Charged with Aggravated Assault, Child Endangerment

Here are some highlights from around our region.

:  arrested Adrian Morgan Allen, 27, of Gooseneck Road in Bristol Township on first-degree felony aggravated assault charges, child endangerment and related charges. The victim is an 18-month-old girl. She's in critical condition.

: Neshaminy High School English Teacher Dennis Howie was selected as a recipient of the “2011 Teacher as Hero Award” sponsored by State Farm.

: Police say someone threw a rock and broke the school office window of the  on New Falls Road in Levittown. 

: Upper Southampton police also arrested someone for theft and receiving stolen property.

: PennDOT's proposal for the historic bridge has concerned some in the community, who have united and hired an independent preservation specialist.

: A last-second 3-pointer by Jackie Pierson fell just short of the net as the Archbishop Wood girls basketball team lost in overtime to Archbishop Carroll, 40-38, in the PCL Championship game 

: The Lions competed at the District 1AA Championships at Pottstown High School and came out on top.
