: At around 7 p.m. Monday evening, Southampton Fire Company were dispatched to a call at the Sunoco service station on the corner of Second Street Pike and County Line Road. A car had taken out a gas pump, hit a building, and the pump caught on fire. Read more on Upper Southampton Patch.

: The effort to preserve the historic Centre Avenue Bridge will continue later this month at a public meeting hosted by the Newtown Historic Association, First National Bank and the Newtown Creek Coalition.
